Momentary Push Button. Porcelain Rotary Lever. Porcelain Base

Product information "Momentary Push Button. Porcelain Rotary Lever. Porcelain Base"

Important: This is NOT a light switch, but a push button. Push buttons only close the circuit while being held. Push buttons require additional electronics such as separate dimmers, relays, or a SmartHome system. For conventional on/off control of the light, please choose a rotary switch insert.

These high-quality push button inserts are made of handcrafted porcelain – Made in Italy. They are manufactured in the renowned porcelain factory Gambarelli near Venice. The exclusive rotary switches combine traditional craftsmanship, premium quality materials, and modern, durable technology.

The premium feel of the materials and the smooth mechanism when turning the lever convey luxury and quality. The reliability and safety of the rotary buttons are confirmed by the coveted VDE seal, which guarantees the highest standards.

Installation is easy in standard wall boxes. If two or three rotary switches are placed next to or under each other, covered by a common frame, the wall boxes must comply with the standard distance of 71 mm (center to center).

Technical specifications:

Push button function with rotary lever

The rotary lever has a neutral position (horizontal or vertical). In this position, no electrical current flows. When the lever is turned at an angle (approx. 45 degrees), the circuit is closed (current flows). You can hold this position deliberately, but the lever will automatically return to its neutral position as soon as it is released. This feature enables the following applications:

1. 3-way circuit, relay:

When a relay is connected, a quarter turn of the lever (90 degrees) generates a brief electrical pulse, triggering the relay and turning the light on or off.

2. Adjusting brightness (dimming):

If a dimmer is connected to the rotary button and a dimmable light bulb is used, you can adjust the brightness by holding the lever in the angled 45-degree position: The brightness will automatically change from dark to bright and back. Once the desired brightness is reached, you can release the lever, and it will return to its neutral position.

Quick on/off:
If you briefly turn the lever to the 45-degree position and release it immediately, the light will turn on to the last selected brightness. Similarly, this will turn the light off.

These high-quality rotary push buttons are made in Italy and meet the quality standards of the European market.
